Associate Manufacturing - Nights (Biotech)

Location: US - Rhode Island - West Greenwich; onsite manufacturing role. The position works rotating 12-hour shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM, with an initial 2–6 week onboarding schedule from approximately 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday.

Salary: $70,985.20–$96,038.80 annually, plus a 15% shift differential and premium pay for Sundays worked.

What you will do

• Perform manufacturing operations according to Standard Operating Procedures.
• Monitor critical processes and complete routine validation protocols.
• Draft and revise manufacturing procedures, SOPs, and technical reports.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and review documentation for assigned functions.
• Participate in cross-functional teams and represent manufacturing operations.
• Own deviations and CAPAs, and identify and implement routine process improvements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED plus 2 years of manufacturing or operations experience; or an associate degree plus 6 months of relevant experience; or a bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Ability to work a rotating 12-hour night shift schedule and complete the administrative onboarding schedule.
• Knowledge of GMP principles, biotechnology manufacturing operations, and analytical methods.
• Basic troubleshooting, statistical mathematics, technical writing, and documentation skills.
• Ability to understand and apply basic chemistry, biology, and physical principles.
• Mechanical ability and experience with production or laboratory equipment are valuable for the role.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering.
• Experience with purification, cell culture, aseptic processing, or single-use systems.
• Knowledge of CFR and regulatory requirements.
• Experience with DeltaV, laboratory equipment, project management, or presentations.
