Biotechnologist 1 (Nights)

Location: US - Portsmouth, NH. Onsite role with a rotating 12-hour night-shift schedule from 6:30 PM to 6:30 AM.

What you will do

• Set up, operate, and monitor manufacturing equipment, including purification systems and CIP/SIP processes.
• Execute downstream manufacturing operations such as chromatography, filtration, and product processing.
• Support column packing, viral reduction filtration, and related purification activities.
• Perform pH and conductivity testing, product sampling, and material transfers.
• Clean and sanitize equipment and facilities, troubleshoot basic equipment issues, and review documentation.
• Participate in shift handovers, team meetings, and continuous improvement activities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in biopharmaceutical manufacturing, biotechnology, or regulated production environments is preferred.
• Experience with downstream purification, chromatography, filtration systems, column packing, or viral reduction filtration is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures accurately.
• Good written and verbal communication, teamwork, adaptability, and basic Microsoft Office skills.

Nice to have

• Associate or bachelor's degree in a science-related field.
• Hands-on experience with column packing and viral reduction filtration.
