Regional Sales Director - UPLIZNA Neurology (Rare Disease/Neurology): Leading the UPLIZNA neurology regional sales organization across an assigned U.S. region with an accent on regional strategy, field leadership, talent development, and compliant commercial execution. Focus on developing District Managers, translating market and customer insights into resource decisions, and driving performance in a complex rare disease marketplace.
Location: US - Illinois - Chicago; approximately 60% travel, including some overnight and weekend commitments.
Salary: $249,322.85–$337,319.15 annual base salary, excluding Puerto Rico.

What you will do
- Lead the regional UPLIZNA Neurology sales organization across gMG and NMOSD.
- Translate brand priorities into regional strategy, execution standards, operating rhythms, and measurable performance expectations.
- Develop District Managers and field teams through coaching, performance management, succession planning, and talent development.
- Use performance data, market access dynamics, customer needs, competitive signals, and field intelligence to guide regional plans and resource allocation.
- Build relationships with customers and stakeholders and represent the region at conferences, congresses, and strategic engagements.
- Coordinate Marketing, Market Access, Patient Services, Medical, Training, Commercial Operations, HR, and other partners while ensuring compliant business conduct.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and 10 years of account management, sales, marketing, and/or commercial experience; or a master’s degree with 8 years, or a doctorate with 4 years.
- At least 4 years of direct people management or experience leading teams, projects, programs, or resource allocation.
- Preferred: 5+ years of sales leadership experience and 10+ years of biotech or pharmaceutical commercial experience.
- Experience in rare disease, neurology, specialty biologics, and/or buy-and-bill is strongly preferred.
- Strong strategic thinking, executive communication, cross-functional leadership, interpersonal skills, and knowledge of the U.S. pharmaceutical regulatory and compliance environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and willingness to travel approximately 60%.
