Equipment Service Technician (Drilling Equipment)

Location: Rural Hall, North Carolina, United States — on-site and field-based. Travel: up to 80% annually.

Salary: $23.00–$48.00 per hour, based on experience and language skills.

Provides maintenance and field service for drilling equipment and machinery.

What you will do

• Perform maintenance, modifications, diagnostics, and repairs on drilling equipment and machinery in shop and field settings.
• Read operating manuals and technical schematics.
• Maintain accurate service records and prepare daily documentation.
• Coordinate professionally with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
• Follow environmental, health, and safety standards, conduct risk assessments, and participate in safety talks.
• Respond to service needs on short notice and travel extensively for field assignments.

Requirements

• Technical school certificate or equivalent experience in mechanical repair.
• At least 1–2 years of relevant experience.
• Strong troubleshooting, mechanical repair, and independent problem-solving skills.
• Personal set of tools.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• U.S. Passport required or must be obtainable; high willingness to travel is required.
