Clinical Sales Specialist (Trauma)

Location: Columbus, Ohio, United States; residence in or willingness to relocate to the assigned territory is required. The role requires work in hospitals, operating rooms, and sterile processing environments, with territory travel that may include weekends and overnight stays.

Salary: $54,000–$87,400 annual base pay

What you will do

• Guide and assist surgeons during orthopedic trauma procedures by providing clinical and technical support.
• Represent the organization in operating rooms, attend surgeries, and ensure required instruments, implants, and equipment are available and functioning.
• Troubleshoot physician and customer requests while managing hospital billing, purchase orders, and related documentation.
• Provide operating room and sterile processing consultation.
• Maintain, track, deploy, and transport equipment and assets across the assigned territory.
• Share customer, procedural, and marketplace insights with sales, clinical, marketing, and strategic account teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, or an associate degree/medical certification with at least 2 years of relevant experience, or at least 4 years of relevant experience; recently transitioned military personnel may also be considered.
• Valid driver’s license issued in the United States.
• Ability to work in laboratory and operating-room environments and travel within the assigned territory, including possible weekends and overnight stays.
• Residence in or willingness to relocate to the Columbus territory.
• Strong communication, negotiation, influencing, strategic thinking, problem-solving, business acumen, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a matrixed team, understand human anatomy and physiology, and manage complex environments.
