What you will do

• Build, deploy, and operationalize complex data solutions and ETL pipelines.
• Design data architectures, transformations, cleansing approaches, and data quality solutions.
• Analyze complex data sources and determine their value for analytical processes.
• Apply data governance, data security, and data quality practices.
• Collaborate across teams, support delivery, and educate end users on complex data products and analytical environments.
• Test data movement, transformation code, and data components while resolving complex defects and incidents.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, a related STEM field, or equivalent education and work experience.
• At least four additional years of data engineering experience; the role description also cites eight years of relevant experience.
• Experience building ETL pipelines with AWS, dbt, or comparable ETL tools.
• Understanding of AWS services and data architecture patterns, including S3, IAM, Lambda, and CloudWatch.
• Experience with data modeling techniques such as star and snowflake schemas and data warehouse design principles.
• Strong software delivery, automated testing, problem-solving, communication, and business partnership skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Ab Initio for enterprise-scale ETL development.
