Experienced M&A Associate – Energy, Power & Infrastructure

Location: New York, NY, United States; onsite at the New York office. Willingness to relocate to the designated office location is required.

Base salary: $175,000–$225,000 per year, plus incentive compensation based on company, business, and individual performance.

What you will do

• Execute M&A and private capital advisory engagements for energy, power, and infrastructure clients.
• Perform complex quantitative analyses, financial modeling, and valuation work.
• Lead analytical workstreams supporting live deal execution and new business development.
• Oversee junior team workstreams and partner closely with analysts.
• Present findings and translate technical analysis into clear insights for internal and external stakeholders.
• Participate in recruiting, junior banker training, marketing, diversity, and community outreach initiatives.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or private equity; 1+ year as a sell-side M&A Associate is strongly preferred.
• Ability to work in the United States without employment visa sponsorship.
• Willingness to work onsite in New York, NY and relocate to the designated office location.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.
• Ability to obtain the SIE Exam, Series 79, and Series 63 licenses within 90 days of hire.
• Strong quantitative analysis, problem-solving, presentation, communication, leadership, and project management skills.
