TL;DR
Veeva Clinical Analyst (Biotech): Supporting and configuring cloud-based Veeva Clinical Vault applications with an accent on user administration, data integrity, validation documentation, and regulated GxP operations. Focus on executing UAT and CSV activities, troubleshooting access issues, testing platform updates, and maintaining clinical systems in compliance with 21 CFR Part 11.
Location: Onsite in Dunkirk, NY, United States; Monday–Friday during standard business hours, with flexibility subject to manager approval.
Hourly base pay: $42.20–$47.12 per hour, depending on qualifications, experience, and geographic location. The position is also eligible for a discretionary bonus and equity award.

What you will do
- Provide day-to-day user administration across Veeva Clinical Vault applications, including account provisioning, security profiles, and permission sets.
- Assist with basic system configuration, including picklists, document types, lifecycle states, and workflows.
- Create reports and dashboards, monitor the access support inbox, troubleshoot user issues, and escalate complex defects.
- Support Computer Software Validation documentation, execute User Acceptance Testing scripts, and document results under GxP and 21 CFR Part 11 requirements.
- Support Veeva software update reviews, sandbox testing, data cleanup, bulk uploads, and data integrity monitoring.
- Maintain SOPs, improve processes, standardize templates, and support cross-functional projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Bioinformatics, Life Sciences, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in IT support, data coordination, or application management.
- Foundational knowledge of cloud systems and familiarity with Excel for data mapping.
- Understanding of GxP validation, SDLC, DIA Reference Model, submissions structures, or EDC development principles.
- Strong communication, research, analytical, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Ability to work onsite in Dunkirk, NY, and perform standard office duties, including lifting and carrying materials weighing up to 20 pounds.
Nice to have
- Direct experience using or configuring Veeva Vault applications such as eTMF, CTMS, CDMS/EDC, or RIM.
- Exposure to software systems used in clinical trials, pharmaceutical manufacturing, or regulatory affairs.
- Hands-on experience with Veeva security, document types, reports, and basic configurations.
