Focus on developing multi-year roadmaps, evaluating platform investments, establishing governance frameworks, and monitoring delivery outcomes.
Location: Richmond, Virginia, United States
Salary: $60–$65 per hour

What you will do
- Partner with platform product owners and business stakeholders to shape platform strategy, governance, portfolio management, and technology alignment.
- Develop multi-year data platform roadmaps aligned with business objectives, technology priorities, and industry trends.
- Identify capability gaps, risks, dependencies, and investment opportunities, and prepare business cases and recommendations.
- Establish governance processes for demand intake, prioritization, platform investments, compliance, and audit support.
- Translate business objectives into platform capability requirements covering regulatory, operational, security, and strategic needs.
- Prepare executive presentations, dashboards, KPIs, and reports while monitoring roadmap execution, portfolio performance, and benefit realization.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience within enterprise-scale data organizations.
- 8+ years of experience in business analysis, technology strategy, portfolio management, product or platform management, data analytics, or a related discipline.
- Experience facilitating executive stakeholder engagement and supporting large-scale technology transformation initiatives.
- Experience developing strategic roadmaps, business cases, governance frameworks, and long-term technology plans.
- Working knowledge of enterprise data platforms, cloud and hybrid architectures, data warehousing, data integration, analytics, and business intelligence.
- Familiarity with data governance, data quality, metadata management, data cataloging, security controls, access management, and data observability.
Nice to have
- Experience with Snowflake, Oracle Exadata, Denodo, Talend, Informatica Data Catalog, and Power BI.
- Knowledge of data governance, data security, and cloud platform services.
- Experience with Agile portfolio management and technology investment planning.
