Location: Tel Aviv, Israel; based in or willing to relocate to Tel Aviv.

What you will do

• Break news on Israeli technology companies, including funding rounds, acquisitions, IPOs, secondary sales, and leadership changes.
• Report on cybersecurity, defense technology, AI, semiconductor, and infrastructure companies shaping the global industry.
• Build and maintain a source network among founders, executives, investors, bankers, and active U.S. firms.
• Write features and profiles, conduct high-profile interviews, and represent the publication at events, panels, and video programming.
• Build the bureau over time by hiring and mentoring reporters and contributing to regional events and video.
• Collaborate with editorial colleagues across San Francisco, New York, Washington, and Asia.

Requirements

• 8+ years of reporting experience with a strong record of breaking news and producing deeply reported stories.
• Proven ability to develop sources, uncover information, and break news ahead of competitors.
• Strong understanding of technology, especially cybersecurity, defense technology, AI, semiconductors, and infrastructure.
• Excellent writing, reporting, editorial judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Based in or willing to relocate to Tel Aviv, Israel.
• Ability to build trust with sources and collaborate across teams and cultures.

Nice to have

• Working proficiency in Hebrew.
