Onboarding Associate, SMB

Location: Chicago, United States. Hybrid work with 3 days per week in the office.

Salary: $41,500–$52,000 base annual salary; $52,000–$65,000 OTE with uncapped commission.

What you will do

• Manage the complete onboarding process for restaurant partners from account setup and training through launch.
• Configure accounts, integrations, and menus while checking quality through internal tools.
• Contact restaurant owners daily to support onboarding, resolve integration issues, and accelerate platform launch.
• Coordinate with integration partners, sales, operations engineering, partnerships, and solutions consultants.
• Support account setup, photoshoot scheduling, operating-hours confirmation, ACH and W9 collection, and other required information.
• Train restaurant owners on Grubhub and integration partner products, share best practices, and identify process improvements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
• 1–2 years of customer service experience; restaurant-owner or restaurant-industry experience is beneficial.
• Strong computer, Windows PC, keyboard, navigation, and software-learning skills.
• Clear and professional verbal and written communication skills, including comfort with outbound calls.
• Strong problem-solving, multitasking, prioritization, reliability, and attendance.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, growing environment and collaborate across teams.

Nice to have

• Experience working with restaurant owners or in the restaurant industry.
• Experience with Salesforce, Zendesk, or similar CRM tools.
