Software, Technical Program Manager (AI/ML)

Location: Hybrid in Elizabeth, New Jersey, with attendance required three days per week. The role is based in the United States; employees must verify U.S. work eligibility. hirify.global is headquartered in Elizabeth, NJ, with an additional office in Somerville, MA.

Salary: $201,000–$231,000 per year, plus equity.

What you will do

• Partner with software and ML leadership on execution strategy, resource planning, and delivery timelines.
• Translate product and scientific goals into engineering milestones and operational roadmaps from architecture through deployment.
• Manage cross-functional dependencies, surface risks, resolve blockers, and make timeline trade-offs visible.
• Coordinate deployment schedules and release readiness for ML models and software systems.
• Participate in design reviews, read code, and understand model architecture, latency risks, bottlenecks, and integration challenges.
• Build AI-powered tools and lightweight delivery processes that improve operational efficiency.

Requirements

• 10+ years of combined software or ML engineering and program management/TPM experience.
• Practical understanding of the ML lifecycle, including data, training, evaluation, validation, and deployment.
• Ability to read code and follow model architecture discussions in real time.
• Experience delivering complex, multi-team technical projects and driving execution through delays and ambiguity.
• Strong communication skills for bridging technical and business stakeholders, with confidence to challenge senior leaders when needed.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, or equivalent experience.

• Continued coding experience after moving into program management.
• Experience shipping applied AI products or platforms at scale.
• Experience building engineering delivery processes from scratch.
• Comfort using Python, SQL, or notebooks for independent validation.
• Experience partnering directly with founders or senior technical leaders.
