Location: Fort Worth, Texas, United States; hybrid schedule with two days per week in the office

What you will do

• Research, review, analyze, draft, and support approval of legal documents, policies, procedures, and obligations.
• Research current law in areas relevant to the business.
• Assist attorneys with corporate litigation, including prosecution, defense, and evidence preparation for claims.
• Support compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and ordinances.
• Participate in required intern events and independent or team-based projects.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in law school between the second and third year, or a law school graduate taking a gap year and preparing for bar exams.
• Knowledge of legal research principles, methods, materials, administrative and judicial procedures, and rules of evidence.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret legal documents and communicate clearly in writing and verbally.
• Analytical ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Ability to use Microsoft Office applications and work effectively with corporate personnel, customers, contractors, attorneys, court officials, regulatory agencies, and the public.
• Immigration-related sponsorship is not provided, including H-1B, OPT, STEM OPT, CPT, TN, and J-1 support.

Nice to have

• Auto finance experience.
• Experience using AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot in legal workflows.
• Ability to evaluate AI outputs for accuracy, compliance, and bias.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted research, summarization, content generation, responsible AI, ethics, and data protection.
