Environmental Advisor

Location: Vaasa, Finland; on-site

What you will do

• Ensure projects meet project KPIs, project guidelines, standards, statutory obligations, and environmental policies.
• Monitor compliance with construction regulations, laws, statutes, and building codes.
• Provide environmental guidance and recommend corrective actions when required.
• Oversee program-wide environmental activities and coordinate FTE resources, vendors, and contractors.
• Support client engagement, health and safety management, risk management, planning, implementation, and communications plans.
• Provide environmental expertise and guidance on delivery options.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior role.
• Formal qualification in environmental engineering.
• Relevant experience in construction environmental management.
• Extensive experience communicating with contractors and liaising with design teams and other project professionals.
• Strong communication and reporting skills.
• Experience with international projects and cultural, diversity, and inclusivity considerations in large-scale program delivery.
