Head of Production (Quantum Processors)

Location: hirify.global Finland, Espoo; hybrid setup

hirify.global builds full-stack quantum computers and quantum processor systems for applications in medicine, energy, and technology.

What you will do

• Lead the ramp-up and scale-up of the quantum processor production site.
• Build production plans, staffing requirements, operating cadence, and execution against delivery demand.
• Lead the QPU Production organization across chip fabrication, micro packaging, and materials supply.
• Establish production control points, pass/fail criteria, yield tracking, loss breakdowns, and production metrics.
• Reduce process variation and collaborate with engineering teams to industrialize new processes and products.
• Develop team leads and maintain safety, quality, accountability, and well-being across the cleanroom operation.

Requirements

• Deep understanding of production and production ramp-up, ideally in a deep-tech environment.
• Solid understanding of microfabrication and packaging processes.
• Proven experience leading a production ramp-up with measurable impact.
• Experience establishing metrics for production output, quality, and cost and using data to drive execution.
• Strong leadership, performance management, coaching, stakeholder alignment, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Experience industrializing new processes with R&D teams and working with MES and production data systems.

Nice to have

• Background in superconducting quantum technology or high-precision deep-tech manufacturing.
