Senior Application Support Engineer (Fintech)

What you will do

• Support and maintain applications for investment banking and financial services operations.
• Manage Linux environments and IT project activities, with Windows Server knowledge as a plus.
• Administer web servers and support migrations such as WebSphere to JBoss.
• Manage security components including SSL certificates, reverse proxies, and load balancing.
• Work with scheduling, monitoring, deployment, and containerization tools.
• Participate in preventive maintenance and on-call support to maintain 24/7 application availability.

Requirements

• More than 9 years of professional experience, including at least 6 years working on Linux IT projects.
• Strong knowledge of Linux environments and scripting with Shell and Python.
• Experience with web servers, SSL certificates, reverse proxies, and load balancing.
• Knowledge of Control-M or VTOM scheduling tools and Zabbix, Grafana, or ELK monitoring tools.
• Knowledge of Git, Jenkins, XL Deploy, XL Release, Bitbucket, Artifactory, OpenShift, and Docker.
• Good level of English and availability for on-call work outside standard working hours.
