Data Science Lead

Location: New York, NY; hybrid collaboration with the NYC office typically 2–3 days per week

What you will do

• Own patient lifecycle analytics, define metrics, and generate insights that inform the product roadmap.
• Build, validate, and maintain production-ready models for churn, resurrection, and targeting.
• Deliver analyses that turn complex topics into clear recommendations and sized business opportunities.
• Design and analyze experiments and apply causal inference when experiments are not feasible.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Design, and Growth to shape priorities and roadmaps.
• Help develop the experimentation platform, including its methodology, standards, and tooling.

Requirements

• 6+ years of relevant experience in data science or product analytics, preferably in consumer technology or marketplace products.
• Expertise in designing and analyzing experiments and applying causal inference methods.
• Strong proficiency in Python and clean, performant SQL.
• Ability to translate complex analyses into clear, actionable recommendations.
• Strategic, curious, outcome-oriented communication and strong cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Interest in working onsite with the NYC-based data team.
