Senior QA Engineer (Fintech)

Location: Hybrid work twice a week, based in Lisbon, Portugal

What you will do

• Design and execute automated, functional, regression, and integration tests.
• Build test frameworks and manage test data for complex projects.
• Validate web technologies, HTTP interactions, REST APIs, browser behavior, and database results.
• Track and manage defects using tools such as JIRA and Xray.
• Work within SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodologies on financial-services projects.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of experience as a Senior QA Engineer.
• Strong experience with software testing and test automation.
• Hands-on Playwright experience is mandatory, or the ability to acquire it quickly; Cypress experience is also required.
• Finance or Trade Finance experience is essential, including guarantees, documentary credits, collections, loans, and import/export operations.
• Experience with large-scale or complex projects, preferably in trading or financial services.
• English fluency at B2 level and availability for hybrid work twice a week in Lisbon.
• Candidates must be based in Portugal and hold Portuguese or EU citizenship, or a valid work permit.
