Senior Engineer (Manufacturing Engineering)

Location: Jacksonville, Florida, United States of America; onsite manufacturing engineering role.

What you will do

• Plan and execute moderately complex and complex change control projects, including conceptual evaluation, design, and validation.
• Qualify new equipment and controls and support vendor and site acceptance testing.
• Participate in technical design reviews for machine requirements and manufacturing and product specifications.
• Analyze capital projects and apply project management methodologies to support future development.
• Train and support Operations Engineers and Technicians in equipment operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Resolve quality, technical, and manufacturing issues, including audit actions, nonconformances, and CAPAs, while collaborating with safety, quality, and operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• 4–6 years of relevant experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in an empowered team environment.
• Experience with manufacturing, production supervision, or frontline leadership is preferred.
• Experience in an ISO- and FDA-regulated environment is preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience selecting, sourcing, quoting, and procuring off-the-shelf and custom-designed components from vendors.
• Knowledge of GMP, lean manufacturing, lean supply chain management, project engineering, and manufacturing science and technology.
