Project Manager Senior (Fintech)

Location: Cyprus, hybrid — part from home and part from the office

Salary: EUR 40,000–50,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead complex financial technology projects and programmes through initiation, delivery, and closeout.
• Gather, analyse, and validate business requirements and translate them into implementation strategies.
• Establish project baselines and manage scope, schedule, budget, quality, resources, risks, issues, and change control.
• Coordinate cross-functional, multinational, virtual teams and external partners across multiple client engagements.
• Build relationships with clients, executive sponsors, internal teams, and delivery partners.
• Strengthen project governance, delivery practices, continuous improvement, and mentoring of project managers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Finance, MIS, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• At least 4 years of project or programme management experience delivering complex IT or financial technology projects across the full lifecycle.
• Strong software implementation experience and understanding of application development methodologies and the software development lifecycle.
• Advanced skills in planning, estimation, budgeting, forecasting, resource management, stakeholder engagement, negotiation, risk management, and problem solving.
• Experience managing commercial and contractual constraints and maintaining project plans, RAID logs, status reports, dashboards, and governance documentation.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and related delivery tools.

Nice to have

• PMI PMP, PRINCE2, or an equivalent project management certification.
• Experience delivering card management, payment processing, banking technology, or payments industry implementations.
• Experience delivering customisations, new modules, framework enhancements, or solutions in new countries or locations.
