Line Mechanic (f/m/d) (Pharmaceutical Manufacturing)

Location: Visp, Switzerland; onsite role with three-shift work including Saturdays and on-call duty

What you will do

• Repair or replace malfunctioning mechanical and electrical components in cleanroom and sterile environments.
• Perform functional tests to validate repairs and maintain service and repair records.
• Execute drug product manufacturing activities according to cGMP guidelines, evaluate test results, and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment.
• Eliminate system faults, open and track malfunction reports, and drive continuous improvements.
• Cooperate with and support the Plant Engineering department.
• Coordinate work processes with team leaders and use SAP, Cornerstone, DMS, and Office 365.

Requirements

• Completed EFZ apprenticeship as a mechanic or in a related profession, such as production or automotive mechanics.
• Several years of mechanic experience are advantageous.
• Excellent ability to interpret P&ID diagrams and technical drawings.
• Very good German and English language skills are required.
• Independent, precise, customer-oriented, and open-minded approach to work.
• Willingness to work a three-shift pattern, including Saturdays, and participate in on-call duty.
