(Liquid Handling) Automation Specialist (80–100%)

What you will do

• Convert bioanalytical assay workflows defined by R&D into robust, documented, and supportable robotic routines.
• Program Hamilton liquid-handling robots using VENUS and EVOware software.
• Regularly assess robot performance and support reliable operation in a regulated laboratory environment.
• Improve assay performance and throughput through automation.
• Contribute to the continuous development of hirify.global’s automation capabilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a life-science discipline such as Biology, Chemistry, or Biotechnology.
• Solid understanding of immunoassays and/or chromatographic methods.
• At least one year of hands-on experience programming Hamilton liquid-handling robots with VENUS software in a regulated laboratory environment.
• Collaborative, service-oriented, structured, detail-oriented, and quality-focused working style.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach, with the ability to balance development work and operational support.

Nice to have

• Good written and spoken German.
• Experience with Python, VB, or SQL.
