Sr. Analyst, Compensation & Deferred Compensation

Location: Hybrid position requiring work from the New York, NY office at least four days per week.

Salary: $100,000–$120,000 per year

What you will do

• Administer deferred compensation plans, including enrollment, participant transactions, data validation, and ongoing operations.
• Partner with Payroll, Tax, Finance, HR teams, and external vendors on processing, reporting, taxation, and participant support.
• Research and resolve participant inquiries while maintaining documentation, procedures, and compliance processes.
• Conduct market pricing, benchmarking, compensation surveys, pay assessments, and competitive analyses.
• Support annual compensation planning, pay transparency, pay equity, regulatory compliance, governance, and program evaluation.
• Contribute to systems enhancements, process improvements, corporate transactions, and other cross-functional compensation projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• At least two years of experience in compensation, human resources, finance, consulting, or a similar analytical discipline.
• Experience with compensation programs, market pricing, salary administration, incentive compensation, or compensation analytics.
• Experience with compensation survey data, HRIS platforms, compensation systems, and reporting tools.
• Advanced Excel skills, including data analysis, modeling, reporting, and data validation.
• Strong analytical, communication, problem-solving, collaboration, discretion, and attention-to-detail skills; willingness to travel as needed.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance, Mathematics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Exposure to deferred compensation, executive compensation, equity administration, or other specialized compensation programs.
