Field Operations Engineer (Weather Systems)

Location: Remote US; frequent international travel of approximately 60% is required.

Salary: $100,000–$120,000 annually, subject to local market, skills, and experience.

What you will do

• Deploy, install, calibrate, operate, maintain, and disassemble weather stations, radar, and related systems.
• Lead on-site technical operations and resolve complex issues during global field activities and events.
• Ensure technical readiness, reliability, and uptime before, during, and after deployments.
• Coordinate equipment transport, setup, field logistics, and on-site troubleshooting.
• Work with engineering, product, and meteorology teams on configurations, integrations, and customer projects.
• Discuss system capabilities with customers, document solution designs, and represent hirify.global during field operations.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in an enterprise SaaS, B2B, and customer-facing role.
• Hands-on experience with weather stations, radar, or environmental monitoring equipment.
• Valid international driver’s license or ability to obtain one, with comfort handling travel logistics and equipment transport.
• Ability and willingness to travel internationally approximately 60% of the year; reliable access to a major international airport is strongly preferred.
• Ability to design solutions involving hardware, software, and data flows, with strong troubleshooting, decision-making, communication, and coordination skills.
• Ability to lift and move equipment over 40 lbs, assemble and disassemble hardware, and work outdoors, at heights, and in varying weather conditions.
