NPC Manufacturing Engineer (CMP)

Location: Austin, Texas, United States; onsite manufacturing and clean-room work may be required.

Salary: $78,500–$108,000 per year

What you will do

• Develop and maintain manufacturing methods, operating sequences, and processes for parts, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies.
• Coordinate the release of product improvements and new products with other engineering functions.
• Apply engineering and Design for Excellence principles to reduce manufacturing and product costs and improve quality.
• Define time standards and recommend tooling and process requirements.
• Develop test procedures, evaluate results, and assess work methods, procedures, and policies.
• Identify root causes and corrective actions during assembly and system testing, perform Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis, and prepare reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 2–4 years of related experience.
• Strong conceptual knowledge and technical problem-solving skills.
• Clear communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work onsite in Austin, Texas, including potential clean-room conditions and use of required personal protective equipment.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, reach, lift, work in tight spaces, distinguish colors, and use hand and power tools.
