Accounting Supervisor (Fintech)

Location: Onsite at Vertis North, Quezon City, Philippines; shifting schedules, including night shifts, are required to support global operations.

What you will do

• Lead accounts receivable and month-end close activities to support accurate and timely reporting.
• Maintain financial controls, accounting process integrity, regulatory submissions, and audit readiness across assigned entities.
• Coach and develop a high-performing accounting team while reinforcing accountability and delivery standards.
• Analyze risks, resolve complex accounting issues, and provide financial insights to support business decisions.
• Partner with cross-functional and international stakeholders across the Philippines, Australia, New Zealand, and global teams.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives that increase the efficiency and scalability of accounting operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy and at least five years of experience in accounts receivable, general accounting, audit, or a related finance function.
• Experience leading, coaching, and developing teams in a collaborative, performance-focused environment.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, month-end close, internal controls, and regulatory compliance.
• Experience with accounting systems and financial tools, with strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, solve complex problems, and deliver accurate results under tight deadlines.
• Willingness to work onsite at the Vertis North, Quezon City office and in shifting schedules, including night shifts.

Nice to have

• Certified Public Accountant designation.
• Experience supporting multinational organizations or global finance operations.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle, Salesforce, or billing and collections platforms.
