Planview Senior Business Systems Analyst (Planview)

What you will do

• Administer Planview Portfolios, including users, roles, security, organizational structures, financial structures, resources, and portfolio hierarchies.
• Configure lifecycle management, scripted dialogs, business rules, approval workflows, stage gates, demand intake, and automated notifications.
• Develop Planview reports, executive and operational dashboards, portfolio health reporting, resource utilization reporting, and financial management reporting.
• Support data governance, configuration governance, taxonomy management, audit reviews, compliance reporting, and platform cleanup.
• Support integrations with Microsoft Entra ID, Jira, ServiceNow, SAP, Workday, Power BI, Microsoft Teams, and SharePoint, including data mapping, synchronization, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Coordinate environment promotion, release planning, regression testing, quarterly Planview release reviews, and governance activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in IS/IT.
• Advanced understanding of business processes, application lifecycle management, integrations, regulatory risk, and customer or financial impacts.
• Experience with Planview Portfolios administration, workflow and scripted dialog configuration, reporting, security role management, and release or environment management.
• Ability to analyze business needs, create detailed requirements, execute test cases, perform root cause analysis, and resolve risks, defects, and issues.
• Ability to lead project teams, act as a subject matter expert, collaborate with customers, and mentor other Business Systems Analysts.

Nice to have

• Experience with Planview Enterprise Architecture, AgilePlace, and ProjectPlace.
• Planview Administrator, Planview Portfolios Administration, or Planview Reporting training.
• Agile and Scrum Fundamentals or ITIL Foundation.
• SAFe Practitioner or Power BI certification.
