Business Analyst (Software Requirements Analyst)

Location: Possibility of hybrid or remote work; occasional business trips may be required.

Salary: €3,500–€4,800 gross per month, with flexibility based on skills and experience.

What you will do

• Analyze customers’ business processes, operations, legacy systems, and existing functionality throughout project stages.
• Elicit stakeholder needs through interviews and workshops and propose software solutions.
• Develop functional and non-functional requirements, user stories, SRS documents, functional specifications, and solution designs.
• Clarify requirements for design, development, QA, and support teams and participate in solution validation.
• Demonstrate solutions to customers, collect feedback, and provide it to development teams.
• Research competitor products, follow trading-industry trends, and improve communication across distributed teams.

Requirements

• At least 6 years of experience in business analysis, functional analysis, systems analysis, product ownership, or a similar role in software development projects.
• Hands-on experience with brokerage, capital markets, mutual funds, exchange-based trading, or other trading-related financial products.
• Experience analyzing legacy systems, documenting business processes, and writing functional specifications.
• SQL data-analysis experience and Oracle PL/SQL or APEX experience.
• Knowledge of requirements management, traceability practices, and Waterfall and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Fluent English, excellent communication skills, a structured approach to problem-solving, and a university degree.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of UML diagramming notations and tools.
• Understanding of APIs, integrations, and microservice architecture.
• Experience with international teams and customers.
• Business Analysis certification.
