Associate Director, Process & Platform (C#)

What you will do

• Own and support pricing tools, systems, model infrastructure, and related workstreams for Corporate Pension Solutions.
• Develop strategy for actuarial models in partnership with Life, Finance, and Technology stakeholders.
• Support outsourcing arrangements for tools and systems where required.
• Identify and deliver process automation solutions across the Corporate Pension Solutions business.
• Partner with the pricing team and wider business to improve processes, build technical capability, and drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Track record developing Defined Benefit pricing or Solvency II actuarial models, tools, and processes.
• Strong software development skills, with C# strongly preferred; Python and VBA experience is valuable.
• Qualified actuary or equivalent actuarial skillset.
• Knowledge of Defined Benefit benefits, IFRS 17, or Solvency UK for life insurance, particularly balance sheet construction.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to bridge actuarial and IT functions.
• Ability to work independently, prioritise workloads, and meet strict deadlines.

Nice to have

• Experience with asset strategy and asset-liability management.
• Experience with Python or VBA.
