Medical Science Liaison Specialty Care NOLA Cluster

Location: Hybrid, Bogota, Colombia; frequent travel within the country is required for field activities. No relocation will be provided.

What you will do

• Develop and execute territory scientific engagement plans aligned with medical priorities, stakeholder needs, and agreed outcomes.
• Build trusted, peer-to-peer relationships with specialists, investigators, healthcare professionals, scientific societies, and healthcare decision-makers.
• Conduct balanced, non-promotional scientific exchange and respond accurately to unsolicited medical questions.
• Gather and communicate field insights, unmet needs, evidence gaps, and barriers to care.
• Support prelaunch and launch readiness, medical education, advisory boards, congresses, scientific meetings, and evidence-generation activities.
• Collaborate with Medical, Clinical Development, Regulatory, Market Access, and Commercial colleagues while maintaining Medical Affairs independence and compliance.

Requirements

• Medical Doctor with an advanced health-related degree, or a life-sciences bachelor's degree with an MSc in a related field.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in Medical Affairs, MSL or field medical work, clinical practice, clinical research, academia, or the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
• Ability to interpret complex clinical evidence and communicate credibly with specialist audiences.
• Proven AI fluency, including clear examples of LLM use or agent creation; experience with Copilot and Claude is desirable.
• Knowledge of scientific exchange, clinical research, pharmaceutical compliance, pharmacovigilance, and medical governance.
• Intermediate to advanced professional English is required for scientific communication and regional collaboration; a valid driver license and willingness to travel frequently are required when applicable.

Nice to have

• Previous MSL or field medical experience supporting a prelaunch, launch, or major lifecycle milestone.
• Experience with hospital-based specialists, institutions, complex clinical evidence, and patient-care pathways.
• Knowledge of the Colombian public and private healthcare environment.
• Field medical experience across multiple Latin American markets or healthcare systems.
• Experience supporting medical education, research, data dissemination, or scientific activities in a regional structure.
