Leveraged Finance Paralegal

Location: London, United Kingdom. Hybrid working with up to 40% of time from home and 60% in the office. Working hours are 35 hours per week, normally 9:30am to 5:30pm, with additional hours potentially required.

What you will do

• Support the Leveraged Finance team across domestic and cross-border financing transactions.
• Produce transaction documentation using precedent forms and assist with drafting condition precedent documents.
• Assist with signings and complete post-completion tasks.
• Research information using paper and computerised resources.
• Maintain the team’s electronic bible platform and handle general administration.
• Respond to fee-earner queries and build effective working relationships with legal and support departments.

Requirements

• Knowledge of finance transactions.
• Law degree or equivalent qualification.
• High level of IT literacy with experience using Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent research, organisational, interpersonal, presentation, and written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to prioritise tasks, work under pressure to deadlines, demonstrate attention to detail, and show initiative.
• Flexibility and willingness to take on new and challenging tasks.
