QA Automation Engineer / SDET (AI & Parity Focus)

Location: Remote work available only within Hungary; sites in Pécs, Budapest, Debrecen, and Szeged.

What you will do

• Design and maintain automated regression suites that protect legacy functionality and verify functional parity during modernization.
• Build scalable UI, API, and integration automation frameworks for .NET and cloud-native environments.
• Use AI-powered tools for test generation, self-healing test scripts, and intelligent visual regression testing.
• Integrate automated tests into GitLab, GitHub, and Jenkins pipelines for continuous testing and rapid feedback.
• Validate complex data flows between legacy monoliths and modern services.
• Collaborate with developers and architects to improve testability and identify testable areas in legacy code.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in automated software testing, software engineering, or SDET roles.
• Strong coding skills in C# for developing and maintaining test automation code.
• Proficiency with Playwright, Selenium, or Cypress.
• Experience with API testing frameworks such as RestSharp.
• Hands-on familiarity with AI coding and testing assistants and automated regression strategies.
• Analytical and investigative ability to translate undocumented legacy behavior into precise test scenarios.
