KYC Analyst (Fintech): Conducting KYC reviews, client onboarding, sanctions screening, and ongoing documentation refresh for retail and corporate clients with an accent on AML/CTF compliance, regulatory risk, and control quality. Focus on investigating potential sanctions matches, escalating compliance breaches, supporting audits, and implementing system and control enhancements.
Location: Poznań, Poland. Hybrid work is available, with full remote work offered for employees living 50 km or more from Poznań.

What you will do
- Conduct KYC reviews, client onboarding, and periodic documentation refreshes for retail and corporate clients.
- Screen client names against sanctions and terrorism-related watchlists and investigate potential matches.
- Escalate compliance breaches to senior management and recommend appropriate actions.
- Respond to business-team inquiries and collaborate with Business Risk teams on KYC matters.
- Support internal and external audits, regulatory requests, and compliance projects.
- Test and implement system upgrades and help design new controls.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Experience with KYC and AML processes, including onboarding and periodic reviews.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail, judgment, and ability to identify and escalate compliance issues.
- Ability to work independently, manage tasks with minimal supervision, and collaborate across teams.
- Understanding of organizational risk and regulatory expectations.
Nice to have
- Certification in AML, compliance, or internal controls.
- Familiarity with mutual funds or the broader financial services industry.
