TL;DR
ITP Trainee (Risk): Exploring financial, operational, and credit risk across a two-year international traineeship with an accent on data analysis, risk modeling, and risk-system architecture. Location: Hybrid in Warsaw (Puławska 2) or Katowice (Sokolska 34), Poland; 2 days per week from the office

operates within ING’s international banking organisation and offers a global traineeship across risk and financial-services teams.
What you will do
- Complete three rotations across different teams and projects within the International Talent Programme.
- Explore financial risk, operational risk, and credit risk.
- Build risk models, analyse data, and design risk-system architecture.
- Take ownership of planning further rotations through networking and initiative after the first rotation.
- Participate in Global Learning Experiences in Amsterdam focused on banking fundamentals, ING strategy, communication, stakeholder management, and growth mindset.
Requirements
- University degree in Economics, Econometrics, Finance, Mathematics, Engineering, Physics, Law, or a related field.
- Fluent English and Polish are required.
- Up to 2 years of relevant professional experience, including internships, placements, or early-career roles in risk, analytics, or financial services.
- Interest in finance and technology, with the ability to interpret data and identify the meaning behind numbers.
- Participation in student organisations, academic societies, volunteering, or extracurricular initiatives.

Hiring process
