Senior DWH Architect (Banking)

Location: Hybrid model with one day per week onsite in Wrocław or Warsaw, Poland

What you will do

• Design architecture for complex data processing solutions and enterprise data flows.
• Support implementation of a modern ODS platform.
• Design batch and real-time processing, streaming architectures, and CDC-based integrations.
• Analyse business and technical requirements and implement new functionality.
• Support existing data systems and users in a complex banking environment.
• Cooperate with development, architecture, and other banking departments.

Requirements

• At least five years of experience as a developer or architect.
• Strong understanding of DWH, data architecture, data integration, and processing.
• Hands-on experience with Flink, Kafka, CDC, strong SQL, batch ETL, real-time processing, and stream processing.
• Experience designing complex data flows and previous hands-on development or architecture experience.
• Strong analytical skills and fluent Polish.
• Availability for one onsite day per week in Wrocław or Warsaw.

Nice to have

• Spark, Databricks, Microsoft Azure, Terraform or other IaC tools.
• Oracle, Python, or Java and other object-oriented programming languages.
• Banking or financial services experience.
