Senior Staff Software Engineer — SaaS Platform & Cross-Product Architecture

Location: Hybrid role with visits to the Kraków office, Poland

What you will do

• Own technical decisions through technology evaluations, proofs of concept, benchmarks, partitioning strategies, migration plans, and SaaS-scale performance validation.
• Shape platform architecture covering Kubernetes and AKS deployment topology, Kafka messaging, workflow orchestration, and multi-tenant data models.
• Partner with .NET product teams on technical designs, code reviews, RFCs, scalability, cloud readiness, and shared platform standards.
• Design, build, and improve Java, Spring Boot, JDK 21+, and .NET microservices and backend systems using API-first, resilient, and cloud-native practices.
• Assess on-premises products and define migration paths to SaaS while preserving on-premises delivery.
• Mentor engineers, create architecture artifacts, develop shared libraries and tooling, and collaborate with Product Management, Support, and Professional Services.

Requirements

• 10+ years of software engineering experience with a record of technical leadership.
• Hands-on expertise in Java and the Spring ecosystem, plus C#/.NET architectural experience.
• Production Kubernetes experience, including Helm, GitOps, jobs, autoscaling, and multi-tenant SaaS operations.
• Experience with distributed data, relational databases at scale, analytical or NoSQL stores, event-driven architecture, API-first design, resilience, and observability.
• Working familiarity with Active Directory, Entra ID, LDAP, authentication protocols, and Windows-centric on-premises products.
• Ability to produce RFCs and design documentation and influence teams without direct management responsibility.

Nice to have

• Go, Azure, workflow engines such as Temporal, or Spring Reactive experience.
• Experience in identity security, including ITDR, privileged access management, or identity governance.
