Director, Non-Technical Project/Program Management

Location: Shanghai, China; travel required 50% of the time

What you will do

• Lead managers and direct a broad functional area covering non-technical project and program management.
• Define project and program objectives, outcomes, milestones, viability studies, and resource plans.
• Ensure projects and programs meet product and process specifications, cost targets, resource requirements, and timelines.
• Oversee documentation, reporting, information transfer, compliance, and effective use of material and financial resources.
• Assign work to subordinate staff and support professional development and productivity.
• Drive research and development of new technologies, processes, designs, and methodologies for integration into products and services.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• 10–15 years of professional experience.
• Broad understanding of systems, theories, practices, and industry and commercial performance drivers.
• Experience leading through subordinate managers and contributing to functional strategy.
• Advanced analytical judgment for resolving highly complex or unusual business problems.
• Ability to negotiate and influence senior executives and external organizations while maintaining the highest standards of ethical conduct.
