Director, Fixed Income Sales (Capital Markets)

What you will do

• Build and maintain strategic relationships with institutional investors, including bank treasuries, asset managers, insurance funds, and official institutions.
• Provide primary and secondary coverage for designated clients and support the wider Sales Team with backup coverage.
• Market fixed income inventory, distribute hirify.global Research, and identify opportunities for bond new-issue placement.
• Execute and book bond, swap, and repo transactions, including credit and risk limit checks.
• Manage client onboarding, KYC/AML processes, and trade documentation.
• Work with bond, swap, and repo originators and traders, economic and strategy teams, AML/KYC services, risk, compliance, documentation, and legal functions.

Requirements

• Strong financial markets background and understanding of fixed income and derivative markets.
• Strong verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with trading teams, sales professionals, and institutional clients.
• Ability to develop financial product and market technical knowledge.
• Legally eligible to work at the specified Sydney location, with a valid work or study permit where applicable.
• Availability for occasional travel and work in a normal office environment.
