Software Engineer (TypeScript/React)

Location: Madrid, Spain; hybrid work model with office and remote work.

What you will do

• Design, implement, and maintain front-end and back-end features for the UI Platform.
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs with internal microservices and shared platform components.
• Improve performance, scalability, reliability, security, and architecture across existing modules.
• Implement secure, privacy-conscious, and audit-ready solutions supporting GDPR and FedRAMP compliance.
• Develop unit, integration, and end-to-end tests and contribute to CI/CD automation and build reliability.
• Participate in code reviews, agile ceremonies, technical discussions, and mentoring of junior engineers.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of professional Software Engineering experience.
• Production experience with TypeScript and/or React.
• Understanding of SOLID principles, clean code, and modular architectures.
• Experience with microservices, distributed systems, and modern cloud ecosystems; Kubernetes is preferred.
• Knowledge of testing methodologies and automated testing frameworks, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills in English are required.

Nice to have

• Experience in high-security or highly regulated environments.
• Exposure to event-driven architectures and Kafka.
• Knowledge of DevOps principles, CI/CD tooling, or infrastructure as code.
