Material Artist (Stylized Games)

What you will do

• Create high-quality materials and textures for a stylized game project using Substance Designer.
• Collaborate with the Lead and Art Director to match the required art direction, style, setting, and quality level.
• Work with Level Artists to create materials that are convenient to use in production.
• Maintain the integrity and visual uniformity of the material library.
• Set up materials in the game engine and ensure correct blending and functionality.

Requirements

• Deep and highly proficient knowledge of Substance Designer.
• Knowledge of PBR and physically based material standards.
• High proficiency with Maya or a similar 3D software package.
• Strong communication and mentoring skills.
• A good eye for stylization and detail.
• At least one shipped game title in the industry.
