Senior Expert Technical Designer (AAA Game Development)

Location: Work remotely from Wisconsin initially; the role will ultimately be based in Warsaw, Poland, with relocation required after immigration processes are completed.

Salary: $119,280–$220,700 annual base pay in the U.S., plus potential incentive compensation.

hirify.global's Elsewhere Entertainment studio is developing an unannounced AAA new intellectual property.

What you will do

• Define technical design rules, principles, systems, and features for the game.
• Partner with gameplay and content leadership to establish gameplay and content design vision.
• Prototype and implement gameplay systems from ideation through final-quality delivery.
• Develop technical solutions, pipelines, tools, system outlines, and design briefs with partner teams.
• Use proprietary tools and game development technology to implement systems and support gameplay and content design.
• Support hiring, training, mentoring, feedback, and cross-functional collaboration across development.

Requirements

• 13+ years of game industry experience shipping titles in lead technical design roles.
• Experience driving technical design teams and technical pipelines.
• Ability to communicate design vision and align it across the team.
• Experience with Unity, Unreal, or similar proprietary game development tools.
• Strong self-motivation, initiative, and a positive approach to challenges.
• Willingness to relocate to Warsaw, Poland after immigration processes are completed.

• Interest in playing a variety of video game genres and titles.
