Customs Operations Specialist (Logistics)

Location: Bucharest, Romania; the position is based in Bucharest.

hirify.global provides home furnishings and operates Customs Operations Europe & Africa from Bucharest, supporting import and export processes across more than five countries.

What you will do

• Compile and submit accurate import declarations using digital solutions.
• Communicate with customs brokers and Customs Authorities in different countries.
• Coordinate customs-related support with hirify.global units, external service providers, and authorities.
• Control and investigate issues to maintain compliance with customs rules and national legislation.
• Contribute to improving department processes and achieving operational goals.

Requirements

• Experience or education in customs and import operations, logistics, and/or supply chain.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel.
• Comfort working with and navigating digital IT solutions.
• Fluent English in written and verbal communication.
• Structured, detail-oriented, analytical, and able to prioritize work in a high-tempo environment.
• Service-minded communication skills and the ability to work independently and with stakeholders.
