Manager, Operations Management (Second or Third Shift)

Location: Singapore, Singapore. Onsite role requiring work on either the second or third shift; travel may be required for 10% of the time.

What you will do

• Supervise employees performing assembly, inspection, testing, final testing, and related manufacturing operations for capital equipment, systems, and components.
• Prioritize production schedules based on manpower, equipment efficiency, capacity, and material requirements.
• Track operational metrics, lead milestone meetings, and improve cycle-time performance and production efficiency.
• Resolve operations issues affecting customer satisfaction and coordinate conformance with customer and supplier requirements.
• Develop employees through training, coaching, performance management, hiring, rewards, and disciplinary processes.
• Optimize manufacturing capacity and drive process, Lean, safety, and quality improvements through corrective action.

Requirements

• Experience applying procedures and concepts within the relevant job family, with basic knowledge of related functions.
• Formal supervisory experience, including setting priorities and coaching employees to meet daily deadlines.
• Ability to resolve day-to-day technical and operational problems using sound judgment.
• Ability to work either the second or third shift.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, walk, bend, squat, kneel, reach, lift, work in tight spaces, distinguish colors, and work around potentially difficult noise levels.
• Ability to work in a clean-room environment and use required personal protective equipment and hand or power tools.
