Principal Solutions Engineer (AI Governance)

Location: Madrid, Spain; office-first culture with three days per week in the office for most roles. Travel as needed.

What you will do

• Own technical strategy for complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise deals and partner with Account Executives to drive deal progression and win outcomes.
• Engage CIO, CISO, AI, risk, and data leaders in high-impact technical and business conversations.
• Design end-to-end AI and data governance solutions, translating fragmented requirements and regulatory expectations into scalable architectures and workflows.
• Lead discovery, position solutions against alternatives, and deliver proof-of-concepts demonstrating technical fit and business value.
• Build reusable solution patterns, demos, and best practices while mentoring and enabling other Solutions Engineers.
• Connect field, product, and leadership teams by bringing customer insights into go-to-market strategy and market positioning.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in Solutions Engineering, Solutions Consulting, or Technical Sales.
• Strong experience with enterprise customers and complex software decisions.
• Strong technical grounding in SaaS, cloud, APIs, and enterprise integrations.
• Background in AI, data, security, privacy, risk, or compliance.
• Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a comparable field.
• Fluent English required; willingness to travel as needed.
