Smart Manufacturing Engineering Intern (Creo) (Smart Manufacturing): Supporting factory 3D modeling, manufacturing process and layout validation, digital manufacturing projects, and product process simulation with an accent on Creo-based modeling and manufacturing technology analysis. Focus on optimizing production layouts, solving manufacturing process problems, and developing simulation-based process improvements.

Location: Wuxi, Jiangsu, China; onsite

What you will do

  • Support the development of factory 3D models.
  • Assist with manufacturing process and layout validation and optimization.
  • Support digital manufacturing projects, including investigations of new manufacturing technologies.
  • Support the design team in developing product process simulations.

Requirements

  • Major in Advanced Manufacturing, Mechanical Design, or Manufacturing.
  • Familiarity with 3D modeling software Creo (Pro/ENGINEER).
  • Strong understanding of new manufacturing technologies and ability to analyze and solve problems.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills; creative, diligent, proactive, self-motivated, and open-minded.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Good to excellent English proficiency in oral and written communication.
  • Availability for a preferred duration of six months or longer.
