Mechanical Engineer (Robotics)

Location: On-site in Hanoi, Vietnam, with 1 day of work from home

What you will do

• Design and develop mechanical assemblies, 3D camera systems, robot accessories, and robotic cells.
• Handle thermal management, structural analysis, material selection, and industrial product packaging.
• Develop prototypes, run simulations, and conduct physical testing to validate designs.
• Support the application team in developing robotic systems for international deployment.
• Collaborate with product, software, and AI teams on integrated system design.
• Maintain design documentation and preserve design history records.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Robotics, Automation Engineering, or a related field.
• 2–3+ years of experience in mechanical design or a similar role.
• Proficiency in at least one CAD tool, such as Onshape, AutoCAD, or SolidWorks.
• Experience with industrial product design, packaging, and testing requirements including dust proofing, waterproofing, drop tests, and vibration tests.
• Proficient English communication, particularly listening and speaking, is required for collaboration with global teams.

Nice to have

• Experience developing camera-related industrial products.
• Experience in automation, robotics, or related technologies.
• Experience managing materials and import/export activities.
