Senior Systems Engineer (Semiconductor Automation)

Location: Chelmsford, Massachusetts, United States; work arrangements may include a mix of in-office and remote work depending on the role and business needs.

Base salary: $118,265.18–$160,005.83 USD annually, plus eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Design architectures for new vacuum SEMI platforms and apply multidisciplinary systems engineering expertise.
• Translate customer needs into hirify.global products through ongoing customer interaction.
• Lead complex systems and company-wide projects involving cross-organizational teams.
• Plan and manage the integration and implementation of new technologies.
• Develop innovative technical solutions and influence engineering practices across the organization.
• Mentor engineers and present technical work to all levels of management; international travel may be required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a related engineering discipline.
• 10–15 years of relevant experience in vacuum systems and design within the semiconductor or automation industry.
• Advanced knowledge of systems engineering principles, product architecture, and multidisciplinary engineering.
• Experience handling complex assignments, leading projects, and integrating new technologies.
• Ability to work in the Chelmsford, Massachusetts area under the role’s in-office and remote work arrangement.

Nice to have

• 3D modeling skills, preferably with Creo.
