Senior Security Automation Specialist (AI)

Location: San Jose, United States; fully in-person schedule up to 5 days a week

Base salary: $147,200–$269,800 annually

What you will do

• Design and develop solutions that improve security and compliance controls.
• Create AI agents, intelligent workflows, and security copilots to reduce manual work.
• Build internal security products, self-service portals, and autonomous response capabilities using LLMs.
• Translate business and security challenges into scalable technical solutions and reusable platforms.
• Partner with Security, Privacy, Compliance, Risk, IT, and Engineering teams to drive adoption of automated capabilities.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in security, software, product, or automation engineering.
• Experience coding, using APIs, performing technical integrations, and automating business or security processes.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud platforms.
• Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Devin, or similar platforms.
• Strong understanding of security concepts and controls, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work on-site in San Jose on a fully in-person schedule up to 5 days per week.

Nice to have

• Experience developing AI agents or copilots and working with OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, or other LLM APIs.
• Experience with LangChain, CrewAI, AutoGen, MCP, or similar frameworks.
• Experience with React, TypeScript, Node, modern web frameworks, workflow automation platforms, or internal developer platforms.
• Background in security operations, compliance, or risk management.
