Transportation Delivery Operations Supervisor 2nd Shift

Location: On-site in La Vergne, Tennessee, United States. Second shift: 2:00 p.m.–10:30 p.m., Monday–Friday; hours may flex based on business needs.

What you will do

• Lead the team in delivering customer orders completely and on time.
• Prepare and adjust daily, weekly, and monthly operational plans, including headcount planning.
• Partner with senior management to achieve productivity, accuracy, budget, and overall facility performance goals.
• Recommend improvements to department processes and procedures.
• Participate in hiring, training, coaching, and driver check rides.
• Use operational reports to evaluate performance and maintain safe work practices.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 3 years of transportation experience.
• Working knowledge of transportation systems, processes, productivity standards, and related technology.
• Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record; continued eligibility to operate a commercial motor vehicle is required.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen where legally permissible and obtain a six-month DOT medical card.
• Ability to lift, lower, push, pull, or carry products weighing up to 70 pounds; applicants must be at least 21 years old.
