Operations Support Specialist 1st Shift (Sun-Wed) (CAR-T)

Location: Onsite in Raritan, New Jersey, United States. Work is performed in a BSL-2 cleanroom on the first shift, Sunday–Wednesday, with evenings, weekends, and unplanned overtime as required.

Base salary: $47,861–$62,819 per year, plus potential performance-based bonus and/or equity.

What you will do

• Perform cell culture, purification, aseptic processing, and cryopreservation according to standard operating procedures and batch records.
• Record production data accurately while following safety policies, quality systems, and cGMP requirements.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, and external partners to complete shift-based production activities.
• Support the development and continuous improvement of cell therapy manufacturing processes.
• Handle human-derived biological materials and hazardous chemicals in a BSL-2 cleanroom environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 0–1 years of operations experience in a cGMP biotech or biopharma environment.
• Knowledge of cGMP regulations and FDA guidance for manufacturing cell-based products.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, follow procedures, and communicate clearly.
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work with physical dexterity in a cleanroom.
